The Illinois State Police out of District 19 report a personal injury crash on Illinois Route 14 just mile west of County Road 500 East at 7:30 last night.  The preliminary investigation indicates that 31-year old Miles Gass of Pinckneyville was driving a truck eastbound on Route 14 near Hamilton County Road 500 East, when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a bridge guardrail before overturning and coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.   Gass was taken to Hamilton Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  Gass was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage and Operation of Uninsured Vehicle.
