Sherry Ann Williams would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call on Wednesday, February 19th at 8:15 am, a call with an offer you can’t refuse. To go on an adventure from which she will not be returning.
Sherry’s assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her sisters Shirley and Johnnie; brother Billy; and father Boyd.
Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be on an adventure of a lifetime. Gardening and growing some of the most beautiful flowers, and dancing till her hearts content. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed.
She left detailed instructions for her husband George; daughters Abby and Anna; son-in-law Ashlen; her grand-babies Alysa and Ayden, Harleigh, Masyn, Layla, and Roman; nephew Kyle, neice Kaitlyn and great-neice Izabella; her mother Barbara; her bestie Gator, and all her friends; and of course her fur babies Nathan and Nadine to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.
We want to let her know that she did an amazing job and we wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family, and her friends. She worked very hard all her life, up until the very end. She took pride in her job of being a Nurse, and would help anyone. She made a difference in the lives of many.
We invite you to join us and celebrate together on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
Memorials may be made in Sherry’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice.
