Robert “Bob” Joseph Klute, 66, of Fowlerville, MI and formerly of Fairfield, IL passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his home after a 26-year battle with colon cancer. He was born on July 27, 1958 to Robert Lee Klute & Joann Juanita (Smith) Klute. On January 27, 2006 he married Angela (Coradello) Klute, who survives.
Bob operated a bulldozer for 40 years for WMR Curtis, Michigan Excavating. Bob loved to travel. He and his wife Angela would travel to Brazil every winter and he enjoyed Michigan’s upper peninsula. He loved his country and made it a point to purchase American-made products. Bob especially loved his dog Max.
Bob is survived by his wife Angela Klute of Fowlerville, MI; his mother JoAnn Klute of McLeansboro, IL; sister Jan Klute of McLeansboro, brother Kyle Klute of Michigan, sister Kourtney (Tom) Bailey of Albion, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Klute, maternal grandparents Woody & Dorothy Riley, paternal grandparents Pezel & Hazel Klute, and several aunts and cousins.
A graveside funeral service for Robert “Bob” Joseph Klute will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, IL with Pastor Ed Foley officiating. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
