IUKA, Ill. — The Iuka Police Department in Marion County is alerting the public to a possible scam in the area.

According to reports, a non-local rock company is going around the area offering to put rock in your driveway for a “discounted price.”

After they do the work, the bill is significantly higher than the quote and the work done was not done correctly.

No one has been able to get a name of this company, but authorities as residents to please be cautious about companies showing up at your door and offering a “discounted price.”
