The March Primary Election is over and it was a good turnout in Washington County, according to County Clerk & Recorder Tom Ganz.  He said for primary elections it is good to get 16 percent.  Yesterday, nearly 33 percent of the county got out and voted, which is closer to the general election.  Here is how the county voted on the state races.  For U.S. Senate on the Republican ballot, James Oberweis beat Douglas Truax 76 percent to 23.  Oberweis was the winner overall in the state also.  For Governor – Lt.
