The March Primary Election is now less than a week away. It’s time to start thinking about who you want to vote for that might provide the best government for you, be that at the federal level, state level or the local level. Here’s a look at the Washington County ballot for the Precinct Committeeman races. In Ashley, there is only a Democrat and that is Len Piasecki. Same in Beaucoup with Charles Schultz, as well as for Bolo with Tony Mayville, as there are no Republicans on their ballot. For Covington, only Republican Harrison Rhine, Junior is on any ballot. Again, for several Precincts there is only a Democrat on any ballot and that includes Luke Tomaszewski for DuBois 2, Dale Sachtleban for Hoyleton 1, Stanley Renth for Hoyleton 2, Gera Sims for Irvington 1, Kathy Muenter for Irvington 2, George Jebron for Lively Grove and Richard Schorfheide for Nashville 2. For Nashville 3, there is Republican Brian Heckert as the only one. There two for Oakdale, that being Republican Vernon Auld and Democrat Peter Geppert. For Okawville 1, Timothy Dunnigan is on the Democrat ballot and Matthew Riechmann is on the Republican ballot. Only Republican Steven Fletcher is on any ballot for Pilot Knob, while only Democrat Arlene Skibinski is on any ballot for Richview and only Republican Daniel Janowski is on any ballot for Venedy.
