The Nashville Hornet football team plays a final four game tomorrow at Auburn with a chance to play next week for a state championship. There was a big pep rally early this morning at Nashville High School, as KSDK Channel 5 from Saint Louis came over and broadcast live segments from the rally. NCHS Athletic Director Wayne Harre talked about how it came to be, as they got a call about KSDK running out of schools still having football in the Missouri area, so they asked if they could come to Nashville. He said it is great to see this happening and it brings the community together. KSKD’s Ryan Dean was there, but the event was led by Mr. Spirit, Music Director Steve Browne, as he got all the groups together on what they would do for each segment. Besides the football team, the band, the cheerleaders, the dance team, the faculty and the majority of the student body, there was plenty of community support from parents and other adults there early this morning. Despite getting up extra early, everyone was wound up and ready to cheer on the Nashville Hornet football team.
