A Whittington man was involved in a one-vehicle crash yesterday morning in Randolph County.  The Illinois State Police out of DuQuoin say the accident happened on Illinois Route 153 at Honeysuckle Road just north of Coulterville.  31-year old Ryan D. Myers told the police he was attempting to avoid a deer when he left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.  Myers was extricated from his vehicle and taken to Sparta Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  He was wearing a seat belt, but was charged for Improper Lane Usage.
