MOUNT VERNON — The Mt. Vernon City Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting tonight to address multiple agenda items including the bid results for the financing of the downtown park.

City Manager Mary Ellen Bechtel will seek the council’s permission to seek bids for multiple projects around Mt. Vernon, including the citywide pavement striping project and citywide asphalt overlay project.

Mayor John Lewis will then address the reappointment of members to the Minority Affairs and Human Relations Commission.

These items and others will be addressed at 7 o’clock tonight in the City Council Chambers of the Mt. Vernon City Hall at 1100 Main Street in Mt. Vernon.
