CLAY COUNTY — A 46-year-old Edgewood man was apprehended in Larkinsburg Township Friday morning and taken to the Clay County Jail in connection with a home invasion earlier this month.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service and Clay County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Isac L. Fancher around 8:30 Friday morning on two Clay County warrants.

One warrant charged him with Failure to appear on the original charge of Aggravated Assault and the latest warrant accuses him of Home Invasion causing bodily injury, Aggravated Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery causing bodily harm, aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60, and aggravated assault.

Fancher was taken to the Clay County Jail to await an appearance in court.

Clay County State’s Attorney Phil Givens assisted law enforcement in Fancher’s apprehension, which involved a private helicopter company with this operation.
