Lil Wayne shared his new song “Kat Food” ahead of his scheduled performance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12. Wayne received a nomination at this year’s VMAs for Best Hip-Hop for “Kant Nobody” featuring Swizz Beatz and DMX

Wayne was just honored with the BMI Icon Award at the 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Awards on September 6th, and he graced the cover of Billboard in honor of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, as well as being inducted into the Billboard Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.
