The Kaskaskia College Automotive Technology Program recently held its Fall Advisory Committee Meeting.  Automotive Program Coordinator Chuck DeBernardi, was glad to introduce the newest member of the advisory committee Jim Hinmann from Germantown.  Toby Dothager, the new Automotive Work Based Learning Coordinator reported on all the instructional changes in the automotive lab.  The automotive committee was pleased with all the remolding and the new classroom.  Sarah Weber, the KC Automotive Student Club President, reported on all club activities.  The committee suggested that Kaskaskia College invest in becoming a Snap-On certified training center.  The meeting concluded with a tour of the automotive lab.  Also, the Kaskaskia College Radiologic Technology Program held their annual advisory board meeting.  Radiology faculty, clinical instructors, radiographers, supervisors, and a sophomore student representative met to discuss program, student, and curriculum updates as well as assessment information concerning the program.  Evaluations, program effectiveness data, mission statement, and program goals were reviewed along with improved developments for the students in the classroom, clinical and lab settings.  Also discussed was the Kaskaskia College Radiology Program 50th Anniversary celebration set for November 5th, 2016.
