The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a couple of accidents.  One involved some teenagers with 1 being taken to the hospital.  According to that report, it occurred on Friday on Hahlen (Hal-en) Church Road and Jackson Road at approximately 1 AM, as a car driven by 18-year old Chase Hagene (Hag-nee) of Nashville crashed in a single vehicle accident, but passenger 18-year old Jared Brammeier of Hoyleton was taken to the Washington County Hospital for treatment of injuries.  Hagene was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and for Using an Electronic Communication Device While Driving.  The other accident occurred on Thursday, a there was a one-vehicle accident on Van Buren Road, involving the driver, 31-year old Desiree Hug of Nashville.  She was cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.  There was no mention of any injuries in this accident.
