In the Mater Dei boys’ basketball tournament yesterday the Nashville Hornets lost 49 to 44 to the Okawville Rockets.  Okawville also beat Mater Dei 59 to 48 earlier in the day.  The tournament continues today and all the games will be on the V and v1047.com beginning with the first game at 12 noon.  The Hornets take on Highland at 1:30, followed by the Rockets against Edgewater.  Tomorrow, the games start at noon again.  Nashville takes on Edgewater at 1:30 and Mater Dei at 9 o’clock, while Okawville takes on Highland at 6 o’clock.  Again, all the games are on the V and v1047.com.  Meanwhile, the Mascoutah Girls Invitational yesterday the Nashville Hornettes beat Centralia 55 to 37.  Today, they take on Mascoutah at 4 PM.  We’ll also have coverage of that game.
