Activity, besides traffic stops, was down for the Nashville Police Department in the past week. They responded to 6 calls, which included a theft of a registration sticker off a vehicle, some harassment calls, a child custody dispute and a report of threats, as well as a drive off without paying for gas at one of the gas pumps out near Interstate 64. One of the traffic stops led to an arrest on Monday, December 16th. According to their report, they stopped a vehicle on route 127 just north of Enterprise Avenue in the afternoon. 29-year old Jacob R. Evans of Oakdale had an In-State Warrant, but was taken into custody for allegedly having less than 10 grams of Cannabis and a hypodermic syringe or needle in his possession at the time of the stop. He was charged with Possession of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe or Needle and had bond set at $1,500. He was later bailed out with $150.
